Electrician assembles, installs, tests and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, generators,machinery and equipment using hand tools and power tools.

Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus,and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem and responsible for the connection of wires to circuit breakers,

1. Determines malfunction of electrical system by visual inspection of equipment and
2. Coordinate to workshop and site incharge on day to day activities.
3. Electricians also install electrical equipment such as gauges, panel boards, synchronizing panel, lighting,alternators, and starter motors in cars, and install electrically operated accessories.
4. Familiar to test instruments and read circuit diagrams to find electrical faults, adjust engine control systems
5. Knows to test, recondition, and replace faulty alternators, generators, starter motors, and related items such as voltage regulators and batteries, and repair or replace faulty ignition systems, electrical wiring,fuses, lamps, and switches.
6. Good in rewinding motors and electronic wiring and familiar with equipment computer systems.
7. Electrician ensures that his work is done in accordance with relevant codes and standards.8. Can speak, read and write English language.
