Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering and Marketing Communications) through market requirements.
Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute. Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product. Monitors all aspects of a product lifecycle, including long- and short-term development and marketing. Stays abreast of trends in the marketplace to ensure the product's competitive position. Interfaces with project managers and clients to determine the product's future direction. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager.
