Senior Javascript / Node .JS Developer

HT is currently looking for a Senior JavaScript/Node.JS Developer to join our team in Islamabad. The incumbent will develop, test, and implement technical solutions to create innovative and user friendly products using latest tools and technologies. You will be a key resource to our development team who will help translate business goals into high quality, reliable and scalable technological solutions.

Job Functions:
· Develop and maintain applications using Javascript/Node.JS to build and leverage high quality, high performing products.
· Analyze client requirements and recommend development plans and concepts while collaborating with other cross-functional teams.
· Drive new features from concept to prototype, execution, and deployment.
· Help identify and remove potential performance bottlenecks
· Come up with innovative solutions and ideas that can add value and greatly contribute to the direction and success of the product.
· Recommend changes to improve established application processes.

Requirements
· Minimum BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a leading university.
· 5+ years working experience that include 2+ years of experience in JaveScript/Node.JS.
· Must have development experience of any web technology including PHP, ASP.Net etc.
· Knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management and testing
· Strong problem solving and debugging skills
· Good verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.

Essential Skills
· Strong programming skills in JavaScript and Node.JS
· Coffee Script
· JQuery. AJAX
· Knowledge of No SQL databases.
· Linux
· Experience of at least one version control systems (SVN/Git/TFS)
