4-6 years of experience implementing complex WordPress sites, which should include the following:

• Theme/Template integration and customization including working with custom child-themes
• Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions
• Creation of custom post types Integration of stable plug-ins that conform with WordPress coding standards
• Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code Setting and managing various permission levels for required user types
• Knowledge of WordPress Network (Multisite) beneficial

· Experience with implementation of e-commerce website is must – hands-on experience with integrating payment modules that should allow users to make payment online using their credit cards (Visa, Master, AMEX, Discover, PayPal).

· 4 - 6 years WordPress (Joomla and Drupal experience a plus)

· 4 - 6 years minimum PHP development

· 4 - 6 years MySQL experience

· Proficient in web technologies like HTML, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON and XML

· Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)

· Should know how to make SEO based websites

· Thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

· Experience using CSS Preprocessors is a plus (Sass, Less or Stylus)

· Experience in managing source code using Configuration Management processes. Experience using version control tool like TFS or Subversion is plus

· Ability to "dive in" to unfamiliar systems and learn on the fly

· Plugin research and customization

· A comprehensive understanding of what it takes to write secure and performant code

· Excellent understanding of OOP, software development life cycle and better practices

· Excellent communication, time management, and reporting skills
