Logicon is looking for an iOS Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

At least 1-2 years of Experience with iOS frameworks. Proficient with Objective-C or Swift (depending on project requirement).

Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

Should have understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.

Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Text, Core graphics, Map Kit etc.

Experience with multi threading.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services

Knowledge of UI/UX standards, Auto layout, and size classes.

Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines

Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred

Familiarity with Push notifications.

Familiarity with third party api such as google map and pusher libraries.

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, Mercurial or SVN).
