BTech Group is seeking a Business Systems Analyst/Quality Assurance with good communication skills who will be responsible for ensuring the effective application of technology to business requirements. The Business Systems Analyst will work closely with both product owner and developers to analyze requirements and produce the appropriate system level specifications for the development and test. The ideal candidate will have, web applications experience, and experience with industry standard QA tools. The Software Test Engineer will have experience automating tests and creating, executing and analyzing performance tests
- Strong structured systems analysis, modelling and design skills
- Gathering, documenting and liaising with business users and IT on functional and non-functional requirements
- Preparation of interface and reports specifications
- Produce clear, accurate and comprehensive systems specifications
- Ability to produce appropriate project documentation
- Ability to use initiative in solving business and technical problems
- Process documentation and analysis (as-is and to-be)
- Review product design documentation to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable.
- Consult with product development to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements of overall system.
- Define test methods and create test plans for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements as well as established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions.
- Recommend design improvements or corrections to engineers throughout the development process.
- Execute test plans and create test reports to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.
- Monitor program performance after implementation to prevent reoccurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation.
- Create test tools that facilitate data gathering and test method execution.
