Coding and testing to support the building and improving websites and associated initiatives.
Following internal standards, best practices, project management, and documentation.Testing: QA, cross-browser, troubleshooting.
Staying up-to-date on latest technology and suggesting opportunities to advance UI/UX of site designs.
Coding and assistance in the production of digital materials to support company goals and campaigns, including e-newsletter templates.
Job Specification
Must have strong coding skills: HTML5, PHP, MySQL, SASS, CSS, JavaScript, Git, NodeJS, React, etc.
Attention to detail and a stickler for QA testing: cross-browser testing, user experience testing, ensuring corporate web publishing standards and guidelines are followed.
Familiarity working with jQuery and/or other JavaScript libraries.
Strong communication, language, documentation, and markup skills.
Familiarity with audio & video streaming and formats, embedding, media feeds and metrics.
Understanding of SEO, accessibility, and site speed optimization best practices.
Active learner, flexible and a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves:
Experience with jQuery and video integration a plus.
Experience integrating with external APIs.
Experience integrating Facebook, Twitter, YouTube.
Experience:
At least 2 years of proven experience , Providing a portfolio of previous work will be nice.
Strong knowledge of WordPress.
Understanding of CSS grid frameworks.
Working with third party APIs and libraries.
Using team productivity and version control tools, especially GIT.
