We’re currently looking for a Magento Developer that’s passionate about creating beautiful experiences and interactions using the latest technologies that are used in Magento.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of design, interaction and usability, while also having the front end chops to create rich new experiences and prototypes. He/She also needs to understand the working of Magento in as much detail as is possible.
Job Specification
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work closely with team to create engaging, next level products catalogue using magento platform.
- Create web-based user experiences that work consistently across multiple devices and platforms using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.
- Implement design layouts in code to the pixel and for various platforms and browsers.
- Define and lead best practices for front end development.
Required Skills:
- Ability to create clean, semantic markup inline with current best practices.
- Strong command of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser compatibility.
- Know exactly what works with Magento and understand the functionalities and limitations of the product completely.
- Experience with modern CSS/styling frameworks and pre-processors (e.g. SASS, LESS).
- Expertise in modern typography best-practices.
- Experience integrating with CMS and MVC web frameworks (Magento).
- Understanding of modern client-side scripting frameworks (Backbone, Ember, Angular, Coffeescript).
Desired Skills:
- Responsive design strategies and tactics.
- SEO, Semantic markup, Microformats.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Understanding of APIs and local payment merchant integration.
