We have an excellent opportunity for a Schools Manager with extensive business development experience and knowledge of international education to join our Schools Development Team. The purpose of the role is to grow our coverage and maintain our core business with schools in Punjab. You will implement Cambridge’s business strategy to deliver world-class educational support for schools whilst furthering your career in the education industry.
What you'll be doing
As a Schools Manager your responsibilities will include maintaining existing relationships with schools and individuals across the region and devising plans which meet schools’ needs. You will also develop relationships with new customers, government officials and other stakeholders. The role will also be responsible for raising Cambridge’s profile in the education sector and supporting the training needs of Cambridge schools. You will also contribute with the development of new strategic relationships and existing key accounts leading to significant new business.
You will be based in Lahore with significant travel across Punjab. Working closely with the regional team and our UK-based teams, you will identify and develop opportunities to support the growth of this market, including the running of educational seminars, conferences and other events. The role will also support our teams who are responsible for compliance, inspections, registration of new schools, training, research and other school-related issues. You will drive sales growth across Punjab, working with the extensive network of schools and potential education partners.
What we're looking for
To be successful in this role you will be an effective communicator, skilled in building relationships, and have the credibility to represent Cambridge effectively with school principals and management officials and influencers of educational policy. You will have an excellent knowledge of Cambridge International Examinations, our competitors’ products and of educational policy in Pakistan and internationally. You combine sound educational understanding with the capacity to succeed in a sales and business development role in an international environment. You will be proactive in your approach, passionate about international education and the opportunities it provides around the world.
