Good knowledge of ISO standards QMS laboratory HSE system.
To elucidate the reactions of food compounds taking place during storage, preparation and production of aliments on commercial and industrial scales and to use this knowledge to improve these processes,
To test additives for the nature, purity and mode of action and to ensure their optimal and safe use.
To detect unwanted natural components, residues and impurities in foodstuffs and drinking water, and to overcome the sources of these pollutants.
To evaluate these results in regards to legal regulations on nutrition and environment.
Knowledge of food safety system & hygiene auditing.
Optional working knowledge of HPLC, GC & ICP will be considered as plus point for this job.
Testing and reporting of the food commodities.
Can be deputed for outside for sampling ,witnessing and testing, hygiene audits
Reporting & data documentation involved in the testing work
Upkeep of lab equipment as per the responsibility matrix
Helps procurement department in selection of ingredients and chemicals required.
Preparation of standards / reagents used in lab. Analysis.
Standardization of standard solutions used in lab. Analysis.
Handover sample for retention to the store custodian
Maintain the inventory of reagents and lab ware as per requirement.
Work in R&D activity under supervision of seniors.
You’ll be operating labs, leading shifts, managing tools and maintaining calibration of lab equipment.
To assess and expand the knowledge about the often very complex composition of raw food and processed goods, log all the raw data in QC log book.
Test reports preparation, and their record keeping maintenance.
Data entry of test results of all Raw/ Finished products in computer.
C.O.A preparation for all dispatch products.
Compile and analyze test information to determine process or equipment operating efficiency and to diagnose malfunctions.
