About the role

No day will be the same but the types of activities that will form part of your job include:

Contributing to creative meetings and sharing ideas

Liaising effectively with clients and other team members (including designers and developers) to produce assets from ideas generation stage right through to final delivery

Independently researching new topic areas, clients’ products, messaging and brandguidelines

Conducting effective (usually telephone) interviews with subject matter experts, often ata very detailed technical level, asking pertinent questions and demonstrating a depth ofknowledge required to extract relevant information

Adapting your writing style to fit a variety of audiences and content types

Responsible for creation and maintenance of API documentation

High quality technical writing skills with meticulous attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Translate technical and/or complicated information into clear, concise documents appropriate for various target audiences

Work with Development, Quality Assurance and Technical Support to produce a wide variety of technical publications including instructional materials, technical manuals, product documentation and the like for use by both the IT and business community

Researches information such as drawings, design reports, equipment and test specifications to fill any gaps

Software engineering background would be an advantage
