TPL Maps is seeking a qualified and experience Project Manager to join our software development team. This individual will be responsible for managing software development projects and development teams and should be highly skilled in using structured methodologies in implementing software applications.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Facilitation of the full software development life cycle for multiple, concurrent development projects, including primary responsibility for requirements elicitation, definition and documentation.
- Project management of multiple projects and initiatives within the portfolio based on an Agile-type delivery methodology with Scrum and Kanban
- Ability to, individually and with a team, evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and translate into detailed project and resource plans, along with tracking and managing the completion task, milestone and project phase deliverables
- Ability to elicit, analyze, and interpret business needs, requirements, and information supplied from multiple sources and departments
- Act as a leader to ensure adherence to proper techniques and standard methodology relating to planning, communication, integration and implementation of work efforts, as well as contribution to best practices and continuous improvement
- Definition of project scope, goals and deliverables that support business objectives.
- Development and execution of project communication plans.
- Estimation of resource needs to achieve project goals
- Quality control of the projects, including the development of project quality control plans and test plans
- Identification of project dependencies resource allocation issues
- Monitoring and reporting on project milestones and deliverables
- Proactive management of the project scope and change control process, identifying potential risks and devising mitigation and contingency plans
- Serve as the main point of contact during all project phases
