Our team is fast growing and we are looking for an experienced Virtual Human Resources Manager who will work with our team to develop a best-in-class employment experience at Kids U.
The Virtual HR Manager should be innovative and technology savvy to set up effective virtual office tools and remote management strategies.
The ideal candidate will be able to work in both time zones as needed and self-manage their roles/responsibilities. As well as
- Be responsible for all HR functions, including: Strategic Planning, Organizational Development, Staffing, Training, Benefits Administration, Terminations, Retention, Compensation, Orientation, Attendance, Payroll, Employee Relations, Management Development, and Performance Management
- Act as first point of contact for employee inquiries, relation issues, policy and procedure understanding and compliance
- Be able to use advanced technologies to manage and communicate seamlessly across borders and maintain HR information on corporate intranet (documents, libraries, employee photos, etc.).
- Oversea the maintenance and management of personnel documents and central files (i.e. employee files, records on training, certifications, probation, performance or discipline issues)
- Understand full cycle recruiting, which includes posting positions, pre-screening, scheduling interviews, conducting interviews, background & reference checks; and on-boarding.
- Be able to prepare new hire packages and coordinate on-boarding activities including new hire checklists, new hire recognition, Manager/New hire communication and orientation plans.
- Develop virtual orientation session with new team members to onboard processes and HR policies.
- Establish templates for standard HR letters – offer letters, termination notifications, employment verifications, salary increases, promotions, etc.
- Establish processes to prepare paperwork for Payroll department.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators for HR
- Understand all aspects of the recruitment process including campus recruitment and hiring of all positions such as Senior Teachers, Practicum Students, Graduate Teachers, Center Managers, and Administrative Roles. Posted jobs, conducted interviews, reference checks, criminal background checks
