Software Engineer

WorkMobile Private Limited (www.workmobileforms.com) is looking to hire junior to mid- level software engineers for its office in Lahore, Pakistan. WorkMobile is an award winning business providing cloud based mobile data capture services. We are looking for candidates with a proven technical background. Candidates should possess experience in .net and SQL, custom controls and third party components along with a good understanding of SOA and SaaS. Candidates with experience of working in the UK or other English speaking countries are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

- Be a part of a talented software engineering team to deliver high quality reliable software to UK based projects/products.

- Ability to travel to UK for knowledge transfer/training.

- A hands on attitude and the desire to code

- Main liaison with peers in UK and team locally to provide a seamless development capability

- Input into company strategy and provide research on relevant emerging technologies

Education and Experience

- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in computer science

- Knowledge and understanding of using .Net / SQL

- Understanding and/or experience of design patterns

- Understanding of SOA and SaaS (WCF, Restful services)

- Knowledge and understanding about agile development environment

Skills required

- Excellent spoken and written English

- Presentation skills

- Team player, goal oriented, practical and self-disciplined.

- Strong problem solving skills, the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and align activities to meet organizational goals.

- Ability to work in team as well as independently

- Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
