Test lead is the one to efficiently lead a team of testers to meet the product goals and hence the organization goals that are derived, are achieved. Duties and responsibilities
The ideal candidate possesses strong software testing skills with a passion for software quality assurance Responsible for generating technical documents (Test Plan, Test Cases, and Use Cases etc.) Must be able to write SQL queries to retrieve, save and update the data He must be able to prioritize the tasks on the basis of the criticality of the projects Responsible to create, maintain, and enhance test automation scripts and programs Open defects as needed during manual or automated testing Create daily status reports for test case and defect metrics Take ownership of the quality of the product being shipped Responsible for task assignment, and team management Responsible for manual and automated software testing Responsible for planning, designing, and implementing testing strategies and automation infrastructure Performs and leads teams through all types of testing such as functional, regression, system, and interface tests, etc. to achieve project goals Coordinate, arrange and conduct meetings with concerned development team lead for the purpose of requirement understanding or resolution of bugs
Minimum: 4-years Bachelor’s Degree (CS, CE, IT)
At least 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Proficient with computers
Good organizational skills
Able to manage time
Able to Work independently
Recognize and prioritize quality issues
Investigate new quality, process techniques, tools and technologies
