Job Description

We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working along-side other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.

Skills Required:

Android Studio and Java SDK, JSON, XML, REST

Experience in all parts of the Android ecosystem including:

Application development (application structure; device and operating system API’s; debugging; performance; security),

Deployment, updating, and roll-out

3rd party integration points including gson, facebook, google APIs.

Should have strong OOP concepts.

Good experience of making REST API Calls and error handling

Good concept of how to better manage memory and CPU

Handling on device SQL Lite database required for applications.

Should have a strong memory and multi-threading management skills for Android environment.

Hands on experience of publishing and deployment of Android apps.

Multi-tasking with an ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies

Working experience of Web Services implementation.

PLUS: Knowledge of Google Android material design principles, iOS experience
