Job Description

  • Setting up Laptops/ Desktops/ Tablets/ Mobiles/ Surface and other hardware devices
  • Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking
  • Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
  • Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
  • Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting to staff in UAE, Saudi, Bahrain, Egypt & Malaysia Branches
  • Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
  • Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
  • Record technical issues and solutions in logs
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional
  • Report customer feedback and potential product requests
  • Help create technical documentation and manuals
  • Manging Local IT inventory
  • Manage the network plan and floor plan along with seating of the Karachi office
  • Manager local IT infrastructure, network and telephony

Job Specification

  • Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems and standards.
  • Ability to operate tools, components and peripheral accessories.
  • Microsoft Desktop Support Technician an advantage
  • A+ and N+ experience
  • Software and Hardware Troubleshooting
  • Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012 & 2016 experience
  • Routers, switches and firewall experience
  • Microsoft Office 2010, Office 2013 support
  • VPN/WAN
  • TCP/IP
  • SQL
  • Knowledge of all software applications used within the organisation
  • Professional image and grooming
