Job Description
- Setting up Laptops/ Desktops/ Tablets/ Mobiles/ Surface and other hardware devices
- Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking
- Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
- Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
- Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
- Conduct remote troubleshooting to staff in UAE, Saudi, Bahrain, Egypt & Malaysia Branches
- Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
- Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
- Record technical issues and solutions in logs
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional
- Report customer feedback and potential product requests
- Help create technical documentation and manuals
- Manging Local IT inventory
- Manage the network plan and floor plan along with seating of the Karachi office
- Manager local IT infrastructure, network and telephony
Job Specification
- Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems and standards.
- Ability to operate tools, components and peripheral accessories.
- Microsoft Desktop Support Technician an advantage
- A+ and N+ experience
- Software and Hardware Troubleshooting
- Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012 & 2016 experience
- Routers, switches and firewall experience
- Microsoft Office 2010, Office 2013 support
- VPN/WAN
- TCP/IP
- SQL
- Knowledge of all software applications used within the organisation
