Job Description
The application analyst is skilled at working with end-users to determine what their needs are. Application analyst is responsible for drilling down in to each business requirement to ensure that what is being asked is actually what is needed. Often a user thinks a particular feature is needed when in fact it is not. Similarly, a user may assume that a particular feature will be included when it hasn't been specified anywhere.
Job Specification
Identify and document business processes while coordinating with clients/client services.
Identify options for potential solutions and assessing them business suitability.
Develops change requests and functional specifications.
Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
Develops change requests and functional specifications.
Working closely with developers and QA to validate that developed solution with reference to CR or FS document.
Support the creation and/or create training materials relevant to the approved client business processes.
