• Assist in designing and conducting research on the analysis, development and execution of dairy value chains.
• Assist in the Identification of key technical, institutional and policy interventions to improve value chain performance.
• Collaborate with ILRI scientists from different technical and socio-economic disciplines and range of international and national research and development partners.
• Work closely with the ILRI-SAGP-L Project Leader, Project Coordinator and other program staff to ensure that all project management and monitoring requirements are met.
• Contribute to capacity building activities.
• Assist the ILRI project leader to develop new proposals to be submitted to potential donors.
• Assist in preparation project and M&E reports, project briefs/communication products.
• Develop, propose and execute capacity building activities to stakeholders involved in the livestock sector in general and dairy sector in particular for the improvement of the dairy industry.
• Collaborate in the design, and implementation of capacity building activities at provincial, district and village level.
• Collaborate in the supervision of the work assigned to field trainers, to ensure the trainings are performed in compliance with established quality standards.
• Carry out special investigations as assigned by your project manager.
• Make periodic reports and on the M&E tasks assigned to your training activities.
• Participate in the publication of training and communication materials through manuals, guides, electronic software. Contribute to the training and updating of knowledge, to the rest of the project staff, and keep updated on new research techniques or processes
• Visit and supervise training activities of collaborators.
• Assist in taking care of ILRI scientists and visitors and arrange field trips and M&E activities.

3. Local language, especially to speak and write Sindh language.
4. Communicate effectively with colleagues, and external contacts on routine work-related matters.
