Job Description
Should have strong OS administration skills on Linux (Red Hat, CentOS & Ubuntu) and WordPress.
Strong knowledge of Apache/ Apache2, Nginx, PHP 5/ 7, MySQL/ Maria DB 10, PHPMyAdmin, WordPress
·Strong knowledge of Linux system security related to LAMP/ LEMP Stack and WordPress.
· Should also have knowledge of windows server, IIS, SQL Server management and troubleshooting
· Knowledge of Cloud Services like Amazon Web Services is a plus
· Should have strong understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, security and system networking
· Scripting expertise with Perl, PHP, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, CSS, and/or XML a plus
· Knowledge of patch management in Linux, ability to track vulnerabilities and apply appropriate patches and upgrades
· Network and server performance monitoring and analysis of error logs is must
· Server and Application security maintenance and review
· Research and Development for key IT infrastructure and strategies
· General Linux System Administration and troubleshooting expertise
· Hands on experience of Linux system management, setup and configuration
· Design, develop, document, troubleshoot, and maintain programs for systems and applications in support of the business operations
· Manage backup process and perform data recoveries as needed
· Certification in Linux server is a plus
· Knowledge of Information Security Standard
Job Specification
The position will be responsible for Linux Server Management within the system environment. It will be an individual contributor role. 4+ years’ experience preferred.
