• Discuss software requirement specifications with Lead/Manager to understand customer requirements
• Coordinate & communicate with Lead/Manager in case of any query or clarifications required regarding SRS or customer requirements.
• Provide realistic estimates for all the assigned tasks (i.e. related to project/support).
• Design test cases as per the requirements of the customers communicated by the Lead/Manager.
• Ensure signoff from development team before initiating QC process.
• Ensure deployment of system/application in the QC environment for testing.
• Perform tests and ensure error free and bug free products/ application.
• Report and communicate bugs/errors to the relevant team through error reporting tools.
• Re-test the product/application after resolution of errors/bugs by the developers.
• Deliver tested application to lead/ Manager and communicate if any remaining issues needed to be resolved.
• Properly document all the errors/bugs reported and corrective actions taken.
• Exceed client’s requirement by always meeting set quality standards.
• Ensure on time submission of time sheets and update status on project server.
• Acquire more domain knowledge, improve skill set and learn new tools and technologies.
• Perform peer review of other QA team members’ work, and get his work peer reviewed by others.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Lead/Manager.

• Knowledge of testing automation, scripting and commonly used tools.
• Understanding of software release process, particularly agile methodologies.
• Understanding with software technologies including: HTML, XML, C#, and .NET
• Experience with MS SQL databases and MS SQL scripting
• Experience in testing web-based client-server systems, web services, desktop-based systems and mobile apps.
• Familiar with all types of software testing (Functional, Non-functional, Regression, System, User Acceptance testing).
• Experience in Black box, End to End testing & test case designing.
• Performance testing
