Job Description

OGBIO Company seeks a VP of Business Development for Asian Region to sell to Biometric Products in the Asian government, business, residential, institutional and hospitals sectors.

This position is highly visible to the management board, and success will be highly rewarded. Reports to: President, Chief Executive Officer.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide counsel and direction to direct reports.

Manage all Asian region business development directors and ensure new accounts are developing with the constant goals set by CEO.

Serve as a visible leader and role model within the Organization.

Ensure that the operation of the organization meets the expectations of its clients, Board and Team Members.

Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies.

Monitor and evaluate the company's progress toward meeting its objectives and implement countermeasures where necessary.

Identify, assess, and inform the President and CEO of internal and external issues that affect the organization

Develop personnel to meet business needs.

Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company.

Maintain solid communications and relations with CEO.

Identify and evaluate the risks to the organization's people (clients, staff, management) property, finances, goodwill, and image and implement measures to control risks.

Ensure the company's Information Technology systems and infrastructure support the ongoing and future needs of the business.

Ensure the company's investment in products and services are spent using sound business practices.

Develop a strong company brand. Build solid and sustainable customer relationships.

Job Specification

REQUIREMENTS:

The 'RIGHT' candidate will have;

10+ years of varied and extensive senior management experience in supply chain services.

10+ years of both biometrics and business development experience.

Experience running and growing a Distribution Logistics company is a plus.

Experience developing and delivering complicated supply chain solutions to customers.

Strong financial management capabilities and defined success.

Highly developed skills in managing and developing people including in the areas of recruiting, coaching, and mentoring.

Have the desire and ability to "roll up their shirt sleeves" as necessary yet be highly effective in the boardroom.

Demonstrated ability to drive effectiveness and efficiency.

Experience in a large multiple entity and country service organization.

The successful candidate must possess an undergraduate degree ideally in Business. An MBA is strongly desirable.

Able to travel up to 50% primarily in Asia with occasional travel elsewhere internationally (e.g. Asia, Europe, Canada).
