Daily Ausaf has an immediate opening for a full-time News Non-Linear Editor (NLE). The position requires a good understanding of a file-based workflow and non-linear editing systems. Our successful candidate will also assist in some media/archive management. Knowledge and experience with Adobe Premier and After Effect preferred. The ideal candidate is detail orientated, performs well under deadlines, and has good time management skills. We want someone who understands the importance of using natural sound and knows how to create continuity when editing a news story.
Must have a strong news sense.
Experience working to daily deadlines while simultaneously working on long-term projects.
Must possess the ability to shoot video, and be proficient with and the latest broadcast television camera and lighting equipment.
Professional experience with nonlinear editing software (Adobe Premiere or equivalent) required.
Knowledge of Adobe After Effects preferred.
Strong organizational skills, and ability to work within tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
