Job Description
The Infrastructure Team at Symantec (CASB Division) is responsible for providing a solid foundation for the entire feature-set offered by the Symantec CASB. This includes, but is not limited to, providing base APIs, authentication frameworks, highly available data pipelines and event handling that can be leveraged by product teams to develop solutions for data loss prevention in SaaS services.
To be part of the Infrastructure Team, you need to think on your feet, be highly available and up to speed with the newest technologies.
Job Specification
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- 02 - 04 years of development experience with Python using Django, Flask etc
- 02 - 04 years of experience creating and consuming REST APIs
- Experience in using Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS)
- Well-versed in core programming concepts such as concurrency, multiprocessing, scheduling, asynchronous execution
- BS/MS in CS or related discipline
Nice to Have:
- Experience with NoSQL technologies like MongoDB and ElasticSearch.
- Experience with third-party SaaS APIs, such as Google Drive, Zendesk, GitHub etc.
- Prior experience with AWS, especially: S3, EC2
- Working knowledge of networks and network stacks.
