Job Description

Program Officer will be mainly responsible for following tasks:

  • Carry out regular field visits, collect necessary data for Monitoring & Evaluating the project interventions and ensure implementation of all activities on M& E.
  • Monitor and review project implementation regularly to assess delivery, identify challenges and bottlenecks and explore practical solutions.
  • Generate periodical program updates/reports and maintain proper filing system for M&E related documents.
  • Networking with donors, civil society and government agencies and identify and liaise with relevant stakeholders to facilitate project implementation as and when required.
  • Provide general assistance on budget management, inventory management/procurement and event management.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the management.

Job Specification

  • Master’s degree in international development, project management, social sciences, business administration, or a related discipline is required.
  • Familiarity with the basics of different M&E techniques used in international development, preferably with 2 to 3 year’s professional experience in development sector.
  • Demonstrated skills in M&E frameworks, indicator development, systems development and report writing preferred.
  • Excellent computing skills in MS Word, Excel and Power Point and fluency in both written and spoken English required.
