Mashkraft is seeking a Jr Software QA/Test Engineer. The Jr Software QA/Test Engineer will work within a Software Strategy team and provide high-level support to the client.

This employee will be able to:

• Provide test and QA related inputs to the Program’s Software Development Lifecycle Handbook
• Review or recommend the test and quality assurance steps needed in the software development process and the OCIO annual operating plan
• Able to make recommendations and review the work of other contractors in the areas of Quality Assurance and Test
• Show good judgment regarding software test approaches and software system maturity assessments

• Basic knowledge of SDLC, STLC, QA & QC Concepts, Testing Methodologies.
• Defect classification and issue severity rating.
• Basic knowledge of black box & grey box testing.
• Experience in manual testing, approaches, planning, and execution.
• Perform thorough integration, regression & performance testing.
• Agile methodologies / SCRUM
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test design.
• Strong test documentation, management, execution and reporting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a thorough understanding of development and testing methodologies are required.
• Automation testing would be a big plus - Selenium/ JMeter / Appium etc.
