Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) currently has opportunities for French Language instructor (Adjunct) to be part of the Forman Languages Center (FLC) team within the Faculty of Humanities. The instructor will be reporting to the FLC Coordinator.
Education & Experience:
A minimum of five years of teaching French language in a well-recognized institution within or outside Pakistan is required.
This position requires a minimum qualification of foreign Masters (preferably in French) or MPHIL from Higher Education Commission recognized institution in Pakistan.
The candidate must be a native or near native language speaker of French language, preferably near level 4.
Should have a sensitivity towards the link between languages and culture.
Should have a strong cultural background of the language that he/she is teaching.
The person should be able to use established teaching sources/materials.
Have good classroom management skills and course assessment experience.
Conduct formal evaluations of the instructors involved in language teaching.
Collaborate with peers and colleagues who are part of the foreign languages team.
Be involved in the planning and delivery of language courses.
Be involved in the planning and implementing of foreign languages related academic activities by working closely with coordinator.
Be involved in the planning and implementing of foreign languages related extracurricular activities and social interactions.
Follow all the institutional policies and requirements.
Report back to FLC coordinator,the Dean of Humanities and VR as and when required.
