MWAN Mobile currently has exciting opportunities for a Senior Full Stack PHP/Laravel Developer who has hands on experience in development of IT systems against agreed scope and requirements, designing, developing and installing software solutions and supporting the development team.

The Senior Software Developer will lead a team of developers responsible for building new and support existing platforms and applications in our islamabad office. a good command of English is a requirement for this role.

• Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms
• Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team
• Develop software solutions against requirement needs, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, following the software development lifecycle
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
• Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.

• Previous working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer for 5 year(s)
• Experience of building CRM, HRM, E-commerce and Management Systems.
• Very good understanding of OOP, Design patterns and coding standards etc.
• Hands on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design
• Software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat)
• Payment Implementation including PayPal, 2Checkout, Stripe, Merchant Account etc
• MySQL profiling and query optimization
• Creative and efficient problem solver
• Expert in Node.JS
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Candidate must be proficient in JavaScript including AJAX, JSON, JQuery and other JavaScript frameworks, libs, MySQL, 3rd Party API implementation
• Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API
• Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support
• Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues to the team
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components
• Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development
• Good basic SEO Knowledge
