Job Description

Lehr is looking for a Business Support Executive with entrepreneurial acumen to join our team, to shape the Support of the organization and drive its future success. This is not your every-day support role, and we are not your every-day company..

Working directly with the management, you will be responsible for supporting growth and coordination across a number of critical areas: growth, support, operations, marketing. All in line with our global framework and strategy. The emphasis is on effective support that achieves results through and with people. The job environment is flexible, constantly changing and provides opportunity for growth, recognition and reward for the achievement of business results. As such, there is potential for this position to become a part of the Global Management Team.

  • Coordinate & support in communication/documentation for activities scaling the business
  • Develop documents for business introductions, meetings, record keeping, business proposals and other business documents
  • Prepare business presentations for stakeholders
  • Write emails, call people, attend online/in-person meetings
  • Promote communication between team members to increase information flow and to solve any problems that arise
  • Support can span more than one team at Lehr, so this role includes growing beyond the responsibilities above to focus on support that also touch new business, implementations and client service
  • Drive Lehr’s core values through your own approach and thus through the team, ensuring that the team are motivated, inspired and dedicated
  • Work flexibly across global time zones

What we’re looking for

While support rigour is necessary, this is also an entrepreneurial role. You need to be willing and able to get stuck into ad-hoc strategic projects, act as a sounding board to the management team, and be able to see what is coming around the corner from a business perspective. This is a remote working position that offers the opportunity to travel extensively, with up to 40% of your time spent at any one of our locations across Karachi, Doha, Singapore, or at one of our partners.

You will ensure that Lehr operates and grows effectively, coordinating with key stakeholders within the company as well as client facing by documenting, communicating and researching, supporting various operational and growth elements of the company’s productivity and its clients. You are expected to make recommendations for improvement and demonstrate them to ensure continuous flow, resolving entanglements and bottlenecks, and demonstrating effective optimization. As you do this, it will be key that you are also able to demonstrate an ability to take teams along with you, supporting a culture that fosters learning and personal development. Our remote working culture is really important to us, and a key part of your role will be to champion this across your various teams, internationally.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to distil key facts from complex issues and present them appropriately to the audience, business or technical, junior or senior
  • Professional articulation & fluency in English (measurable by IELTS >7.5)
  • Professional competency in business documentation & business communication
  • Highly developed reasoning and analytical skill
  • Promote communication between team members to increase information flow and to solve any problems that arise
  • Should be familiar in using platforms such as Linkedin, Hubspot.
  • Expert in using Excel/Spreadsheet for reporting/analytics
  • Expert in designing business presentations
  • Possesses their own computer/laptop with internet connection; Preferably owns a good performance computer/laptop
  • Can flexibly work from any location (their home/co-working space/designated location)
  • Able to communicate with foreigners/C-Suite level personnel/professionals
  • Can travel inside/outside Pakistan for meetings
  • Can represent/communicate as a representative
  • Can work independently, and autonomously
  • Ability to read & understand professional business documents
  • Can grow as an individual
  • Expert in searching/researching information
  • Should have at least 2-3 years’ experience in any executive position
  • Candidate should write a cover letter/statement of purpose when applying (Carries 40% selection weightage)
