We are looking for, Vendor Manager (clothing & fashion industry).
The job responsibilities include:
- Communicating with vendors on a regular basis through email, call & text to increase assortment
- Arranging photo-shoot if the vendor cannot provide quality pictures
- Communicating to vendors on a regular basis through email, call & text for the stock update to avoid order cancellation due to stock-outs
- Keep follow up with all promotions
- Vendor Payments. Sending invoices to vendors when the payment cycle ends
- Improving Communication with Vendors to build sustainable trust in relationships, that helps to leverage the effective negotiation, and minimize conflict resolution and vendor-related risks.
- Negotiates the contract and commissions with vendors. Ensures that the Zone of Potential Agreement (ZOPA) leads towards creating mutual value, yet the company’s interest remained intact.
- Liaison with the legal team for contract administration and regulatory aspects, including contract changes, contract disputes and updates, legal conflict resolution, and prevention. Successfully resolved dozens of contract changes and disputes of vendors.
- Partnering methods and requirements as a way of doing business with vendors
- The ideal candidate has a strong business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management. Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills are musts. The Vendor Manager is an effective leader and communicator and a seasoned problem-solver.
