Duties and responsibilities

Function as accountant / bookkeeper for clients of the Company and maintain its accounting books (general ledgers).
Process customers & suppliers invoices and update respective receivable & payable ledgers.
Process incoming and outgoing cheques, payment vouchers and receipt vouchers
Maintain employee reimbursements, petty cash vouchers and record into respective expenses ledgers.
Review and reconcile all bank statements for review by seniors.
Maintain Fixed Assets Register, Receivables and Payables aging and reconciliations.
Responsible for accruals, provisions, monthly books closing, trial balance, balance sheet, and income statement for review by seniors.
Assist the seniors with the preparation of regulatory returns and timely submission.
Assist with other assigned duties including internal accounting, risk and controls reviews for clients or administration roles.
Qualification & Experience(is essential to any successful application)
Must be ACCA qualified fresh or 1 year experience.
Big four internships experience is a plus.
Must be a familiar with IFRS accounting standards.
Basic Knowledge of federal and provincial taxes.
Competency of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
