Job Description
- Collaborating with senior executives to establish and execute a sales goal for the region
- Managing a sales team in order to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed corporate-set goals
- Developing specific plans to ensure growth both long and short-term
- Reviewing regional expenses and recommending improvements
- Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives
- Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
- Manage significant opportunity pipeline to guarantee success and regional growth.
- Manage company products, services, features and benefits knowledge.
- Counsel, train and guide direct reports to drive organization plans for achieving sales goals.
- Initiate and innovate marketing strategies to increase sales and reduce cost
- Hold and direct sales meetings
- Define and implement regional sales plans, write presentations, reports and price quotations and support contract negotiations.
- Inform on regional competitive activities and overall market place on time.
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Work with k-12 schools, Universities, Corporate Sector to determine needs and initiatives
- Coordinates sales effort with sales management, operations, and company leadership
- Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products/services
- Maintain strong, ongoing working relationships with existing customers in order to enhance the customer experience resulting in future sales and referrals
Job Specification
- BS/MS degree Required
- Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager or similar senior sales role
- Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
- Familiarity with CRM, SSD, CMS, SMS, LMS or ERP software’s
- Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Availability to travel as needed
