Senior Mobile App Developer

• Design and develop advanced software applications. Build on one or more platforms which include but not limited to iOS, Android, and web apps.
• Evaluate strategies and make recommendations on changes and improvements.
• Collaborate with team members on the design and implementation of new functionalities on the different platforms.
• Consult with other team members and implement solutions in-line with the departments’ visions.
• Continuously learn and keep up to date with emerging technologies to evaluate impact to business and member value
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
• Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
• Design interfaces to improve user experience
• Liaise with Product development team to plan new features
• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards

• Master/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering with 5 to 8-year experience.
• Proven experience as an app developer.
• Proficient in Swift, Cocoa Touch and Kotlin.
• Extensive experience with iOS Frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation. Android SDK as well.
• Knowledge of iOS/android back-end services.
• Knowledge of Apple’s design principals and application interface guidelines.
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Mercurial, Git, and SVN.
• Familiarity with push notifications, APIs and cloud messaging.
• Experience with continuous integration.
