Extract stories from database and to build visualization for management. Explore and extract insights from massive dataset of geospatial, behavioral, economic, and the interaction of millions of passengers, parcel and drivers and tens of thousands of trips per day from 3 cities Build, validate, test, and deploy machine learning or other data science models to predict and influence the behavior of supply and demand with the goal of optimizing system efficiency of the platform Overlay heats maps of demand & supply and implement surge pricing Develop creative algorithms by employing machine learning and other data science techniques Collaborate with other data scientists, software engineers, and business operation teams

Understanding basic query language to extract data from various places Understanding of machine learning, deep learning, data mining, algorithmic foundations of optimization Experience with machine learning framework (scikit-learn, Spark MLlib etc) Experience of using R, Matlab, Jupiter Notebook or similar open source statistical tools Basic understanding of one or more of the following programming languages: Python, R, Scala. Experience or knowledge in Economics will be advantageous Experience working with retail or e-commerce data is a preferred
