Work with different controller type machines Preferred Fanuc and Heidenhain.
Follow supervisor instruction to do proper Job setup on machine.
Arrange tooling specific to job setup.
Read and Understand Drawings, specifications, Manufacturing symbols and parameters.
Prepare Machines for Manufacturing. This includes checking attachments and parts, taking measurements, Job dialing, making adjustments to precisely calibrate machines, and loading feeding mechanisms.
Basic knowledge of G&M-codes can perform minor modification on machines.
Maintain machines and equipment by cleaning and sharpening tools and components on daily basis.
Fill floor documents on daily basis specific to machine operation and productions.
Inspect critical dimensions as per process sheet before part unclamp.
Use Measuring tools (steel rules, tape measures, calipers, gauges, micrometers, dial indicator)
Hand tools (cutters, holders, spindles)
Work on weekends and overtime if required.
