Job Descriptions of Accounts Officer:


1 Booking of local and export sales after scrutinizing the sales contracts and delivery challans;
2 Preparation of Debit / Credit notes for sales tax purposes;
3 Preparation of supply register for sales tax purposes;
4 Party Reconciliations;
5 Booking of Purchase after scrutinizing the purchases contracts for price and GRNs for quantities;
6 Preparation of purchase register for sales tax purposes;
7 Verification of the concerned documents and payables booking before processing the concerned payment requests received from the departments;
8 Reconciliations of cashier's and purchaser's Imprest;
9 Incorporation of provisions in financial ledgers regarding Utilities and general accrued expenses;
10 Recording of full and final settlement dues in their respective heads of accounts i-e in salaries and wages and Gratuity;
11 Deduction of advance against salaries and loan deductions from salaries;
12 Incorporation of adjusting journal entries for the adjustment of advance against expenses;
13 Salary preparation on monthly basis;
14 Fixed Assets Register;
15 Deductions of staff loans and Vehicles deposits from their salaries;
16 Deduction of withholding tax from the payments made to suppliers and services providers;
17 Booking of Wages and salaries - Department wise;
18 Payment processing of wages and salaries after making comparisons from the last month;
