Job Description
- To develop and implement procurement required objectives and to be the primary source of expertise to manage departmental requirements.
- Manage inflow and outflow of all departmental processes in the required time frames
- To develop procurement strategy for Projects
- To set up an effective procurement function for ADPK Projects.
- Develop systems within Group guidelines to ensure visibility and co-ordination of requirements and sourcing arrangements
- Identify areas where we can exercise greater influence and negotiation with suppliers.
- Identify potential savings by improving the processes, practices and contractual arrangements
- Take action to secure savings identified to meet business requirements
- To optimize the number and location of major commodity and component suppliers
- To review the planning of requirements and ensure the timely delivery of material on sites.
- To simplify the requisition and ordering processes
