Role:

We are looking to hire an expert WordPress Developer to design and implement attractive and functional websites for Elixir. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates.

To ensure success as a WordPress Developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills. Ultimately, a top-class WordPress Developer who create attractive, user-friendly websites that perfectly meet the design and functionality industry specifications, Elixir Brand design guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and building the website front-end for 5 to 8 years.
• Understanding of website architecture best practice.
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Expert knowledge of WordPress themes and plugins.
• Expert knowledge of website testing.
• Troubleshooting content issues and doing A/B testing.
• Conducting WordPress training, if required.
• Monitoring the performance of the live website.
• Working with SEO and SMO lead to configure website backend.
• Knowledge of Salesforce, Hubspot and other 3rd party tool for data integration is a strong asset
• Bring in expert knowledge of developing macro sites, interactive content and customized call to action.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field or extensive portfolio.
• Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer/designer.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery and hand code.
• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug etc.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Ability to project manage and work with tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of cross platform compatibility & accessibility
• Excellent work ethics and a team player.
• Good communication skills.
