Duration: This is an 18-months contract. It may be extendable depending on the requirement of the business.
Location: This role is based in Islamabad, Pakistan.
The Role: Project Director (Billing Swap) is a key position to deliver Telenor Pakistan’s strategic ambition of becoming a favorite digital partner.
Your Impactful Goals
Responsible for end-to-end delivery for Billing Swap project starting from planning/scoping to migration/stability
Deliver on key project domains comprising of business functional requirements, solution design, integrations, infrastructure, testing, migrations, and operations
Lead cross-functional project team comprising of the project leads from Business, Technology & Finance. Ensure close coordination between project workstreams and address challenges, issues, and interplays
Lead all project planning sessions and coordinate across teams and stakeholders
Manage and track project expenditure
Keep track of the project progress and adapt work as required, in order to meet the strict timelines
Establish formal forums and steering committees at different layers for project review and create detailed reports for executive management reporting
Align project progress with Telenor Group’s global project governance
Establish a close working relationship with the vendor organization and establish vendor governance forums
Embed agile methodologies in the project ensuring business continuity is not impacted

You will be responsible to ensure alignment across various project streams. You will be developing project status progress reports and presenting them to executive management. You will be engaged in addressing blockers in the project. Your key responsibility on a day to day basis will be to ensure that the project stays on track as per the strict delivery timelines.

What are we looking for?
Qualification: BE/BCS/MSC/MBA and a sound understanding of telecommunication technology and IT BSS landscape.
Work experience:
The ideal candidate will have experience in project management and prior experience in the telecommunication landscape (preferably in a telecom operator).
A successful candidate will have previous experience in successfully leading teams under a high amount of disruption/ambiguity while delivering results under strict timelines.
