What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?

-Within 30 days you will:

Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with detailed orientation program where you will learn Jazz’s values, business, and products. Meet with the People & Organization team to understand the strategy of the function in line with Organization strategy and company road map. Have meetings, with members of other teams to understand how each function at Jazz contributes to the overall success. Understand the function and processes of NOC Front Office in Technical, role and responsibilities of team within organization.

-Within 60 days, you will:

Introduction to Radio Access Network, understanding detailed Network Architecture, Nodes and Develop concrete understanding of Jazz RAN (2G,3G & LTE) and vendor specific products, Fault Management Procedures. Go through all the MOP, SOP & operating practices at NOC.

-Within 90 days to onwards you will:

Develop thorough competency on Radio Access t Network & Fault Management Procedures. Would be able to perform independently Fault Management, Network Audit, & Health Checks in line with escalation procedures in place, also start facilitating regional operations & other customer teams on operational tasks.

Job Specification

We are looking for someone who has already worked for RAN Operations (Front Office) with hands on experience on Huawei and ZTE RAN nodes. Must have good troubleshooting & analytical skills. We are also looking for someone who has excellent communication skills to be able to promote the department and technology portfolio with professionalism, maturity, and a balanced, holistic view of any competing viewpoints and last but not the least, the candidate must be a good team player.

A bit about us:

Network Operations Center (NOC) is essentially responsible for Supervision & Monitoring of various network functions including but not limited to RAN, Core, IN / VAS, Transport & Fixed Enterprise Networks. In addition, analytics, portfolios of Customer Complaints, Operations Support System Operations, Access & Change Management are also part of NOC.

The structure of the team you will join is:

RAN Supervision team comprises of 10 team members. Main tasks include working in 24 x 7 – Shifts for fault monitoring, Troubleshooting/providing first level support for ongoing issues related to RAN.

Essential skills must have:

Good understanding of RAN technologies (2G/3G/LTE)

Thorough know-how of network topologies and their inter-working

Good understanding of basic call flows for 2G/3G/4G.

Hands-on experience of NMS systems and associated software tools.

Fault Management Procedures & Industry Practices.

Deep understanding of Network Operations Environment.

Customer Centric Approach to facilitate the internal customer teams.

Desirable Skills:

Huawei and ZTE hands on with relevant equipment. Computer Proficiency, MS Office must include MS Visio & Power point.

Prior working Experience in a NOC Environment.

Good Communication and Presentations skills.

Willing to work in shifts, on gazetted holidays
