What is Head of Account Management?

Head of Account Management is a national role responsible for extending communications and ICT consultancy and solutions to more than 5000 corporate and enterprise clients throughout Pakistan. The annual portfolio responsibility and maintaining the brand equity are substantial.

The role is a critical member of the JazzBiz leadership team and works closely with the Chief Business Officer in delivering the divisional strategy, responsible for providing products based on market insights, besides managing the divisional performance and delivery of targets.

The role leads a direct team of 5 Regional Heads, based in major cities, and indirectly leads a team of 80 experienced Business Consultants responsible for product uptake, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

What does Head of Account Management do?

Devise strategies to ensure high-quality consultancy for client organizations, helping them grow by leveraging ICT products offered by Jazz i.e. Cloud, IoT, M2M, Jazz Cash, and GSM.

Actively engage with senior management at client organizations to determine the product needs and ways to build strong long term relationships.

Apply a data-driven approach to read the market and determine nationwide revenue potential.

Translate divisional strategy into tactical plans for each region ensuring the revenue target is distributed among respective geographies in line with the market potential.

Ensure that the team is aligned with the vision and remains motivated to fulfill short term targets, while always ensuring that they exhibit Jazz values and are strong ambassadors.

Drive critical sales opportunities and engagements in the enterprise space, guiding the team to propose a solution, workout feasibility, and operational aspect of the proposed solution.

Responsible to provide inputs on revenues targets setting, market potential, customer needs, new products development, modifications to existing products, network expansion, and portfolio management

Contribute to the identification of strategic initiatives or special projects for systems, processes, customer experience improvement.

Lead the teams to identify, qualify, manage and close sales opportunities while engaging with internal stakeholders (Pre-sales, Marketing, Operations) to ensure an end-to-end service.

Manage important KPIs other than the revenue that will set Jazz apart such as customer service, churn rate, customer retention, new product development, etc.

Builds strong influence across the organization while having limited control (Stakeholder management) to ensure the Account Management team is able to collaborate cross functionally to achieve goals.

Participate in deal qualification calls to assess profitability, pricing, resource requirements, etc. along with other internal teams.

Participate in market development activities, forums, customer events & conferences to propagate product portfolio and gather market intelligence/ competitors' offerings, etc.

Oversee sales planning and operations team, provide inputs on sales commissions policy, provide market feedback to the products team for strategizing products, pricing, roll out.

Incumbent with strong grip on the industry dynamics, who exhibits entrepreneurial mindset and has an unmatched business acumen.

Incumbent should understand the technological gap in the market and fill the same by leveraging our product portfolio i.e. cloud, M2M, DFS, IoT.

Incumbent should be a seasoned sales professional who has led various strategic initiatives and has experience in managing large teams nationally spread teams.

Should be able to influence the senior management of clients to understand requirements, issues and feedback in order to ensure achievement of revenue and sales targets for enterprise segment.

Is able to articulate and sell a solutions oriented approach to customers’ ICT needs
