Job Description

The practice seeks an energetic, compassionate individual to manage clinic operations for the interventional radiology team at the hospital. The individual should be highly motivated, have a pleasant and friendly demeanor, and should be compassionate to patients.

  • Manage in-person clinic at the hospital including receiving and responding to patient phone calls, scheduling patients, assisting patients during their clinic visit, and checking patients out after their visit is complete.
  • Maintaining clinic records of calls made and returned, patients to be scheduled, and follow-up dates/times for patients
  • Managing patients during on-site tele-health clinic visits for local and international physicians
  • Managing clinic documents e.g. patient information sheets, scheduling documents, physician pads
  • Receive and manage all calls coming to office telephone numbers during working hours. Documenting calls received after hours and returning them during regular working hours.
  • Managing clinic time effectively by foreseeing all possible issues and disruptions. Continuously improve skills and suggest innovations to reduce patient waiting times.
  • Be fully prepared on the day of the clinic by ensuring that all essential documents, leaflets and CDs are in place. The computer software’s are operational and the clinic environment is at optimum level.
  • Keep track of all essentials required for clinic and front desk operations such as folders, prescription pads etc. Maintain inventory record keeping for all clinic and front desk essentials.
  • Maintain all data on patient history, follow-up clinic and procedure schedules. He/she will have to prepare and maintain comprehensive lists for both clinic and procedure scheduling.
  • Ensuring smooth operations for clinic maintaining efficiency and courtesy for patients and physicians

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have many or all of the following skills and behavioral characteristics:

  • The candidate must be a minimum Bachelors in Commerce (B.Com), BBA or Bachelors in Arts (B.A) from a reputable institute where the standard medium for class instruction was English.
  • Applicant should have worked at a customer interactive position, servicing customers both in-person and on calls. Having work experience at the hospitality sectors would be an additional advantage.
  • The applicant must be fluent in verbal and written English
  • The applicant must be fluent in verbal and written Urdu
  • Basic computer skills are required for the following software use:
    • Microsoft Word: Should be able to draft letters and utilize basic formatting tools.
    • Microsoft Excel: Should be able to enter data error-free.
  • Willingness to grow in the position by identifying opportunities for improving patient care.
  • Able to learn new tools e.g. Zoom, enterprise resource planning software etc. during practice development
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required for managing patients
  • The ability to maintain calmness and composure are an asset
  • Punctuality, discipline, and time management are requirements
  • Displays ownership and concern for the department
  • Is a team player, looking to share knowledge and skills in the best interest of the department
