Job Description
Candidate will be handling Symbian, Windows Mobile, J2ME, MIDP 2.0, Nokia Series 60, Symbian UIQ, Network and Socket programming
- Participate in the development of multi platform application.
- Influence and actively develop a compelling mobile application that will reach millions of customers.
- Design and develop cross platform mobile application to support Windows Mobile, Symbian, J2ME & BREW devices
- Collaborate with external teams to port the application layers to various open mobile operating systems
- Utilize and evangelize best of breed programming techniques including design patterns, re-usable and modular development
- Experience in the definition and implementation of software architectures within product development
Job Specification
- BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering
- experience in mobile application development on one or more of open mobile platforms including Symbian, Windows Mobile, J2ME and Brew.
- Has knowledge of mobile phones interfaces like GSM, GPRS, UMTS, IR, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB
- Java experience
- TCP/IP programming experience
- Experience with SQL Server
- Demonstrable use of object oriented development, application frameworks (design and implementation), memory management, file I/O, network & socket programming, concurrency, multi threading.
- Demonstrated track record of developing, shipping and supporting application/services on mobile devices
- Demonstrated track record as a significant contributor through the development career
- Experience in source control, unit testing, code verification, documentation, automated build
- Experience in the software development life cycle
