Excellent written and spoken English skills. Should be able to write letters/emails to different parties like banks, customers, vendors, etc. (familiarity with different letter writing formats is required).
Experience of dealing with day to day office staff matters and maintaining discipline e.g. office staff time keeping, leave application records, loan application records.
Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; controlling correspondence; maintaining filing systems; reviewing and approving office supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
Maintains office efficiency - designing and implementing office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards;
Overseeing the recruitment of new staff, sometimes including training and induction. Should be able to draft newspaper ads for new hiring of staff. Initial CV screening and scheduling interviews.
Carrying out staff appraisals, managing performance and disciplining staff;
Writing reports for senior management and delivering presentations;
Co-ordination with external parties on various matters e.g. purchasing / inspection matters;
Managing / co-ordinating / keeping track of field staff including time keeping, work assigning.
Approving of store issuances (double checking all approvals)
Responding to customer enquiries and complaints;
Expertise in the use of a range of office software, including email, excel, word and powerpoint;
