Job Description
PURPOSE:
Responsible for achievement of agreed sales targets in the assigned areas. Provide technical services to all segments of paints. Develop expertise in paint application.
DIMENSIONS:
Sales in heavy duty, industrial & marine and Floor coatings in the assigned areas
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Sales:
1. Achievement of agreed sales targets.
- Technical Services:
1. coordinate with principal supplier regarding technical assistance and information specially related with decorative segment.
2. Assist DGM in equipment selection and paint manufacturing process for local paint plant.
3. Solving daily routine problems of line in consolation with RSM
4. Reporting the abnormal problem immediately to RSM / NSM as & when reqd.
5. Complaint handling in Heavy duty, industrial and floor coatings and decorative paints
6. Ensure proper paint / coatings application procedure is being implement on large Heavy Duty, Industrial, Floor Coating Projects.
7. Assist Product Manager / Regional Sales Manager in development of decorative, industrial & floor coatings products.
8. Assist Product Manager / Regional Sales Manager in product testing & trials of decorative, industrial & floor coatings products.
- Business Development:
1). Assist RSM in new customer development and make sales & keep update regarding competitor's activities.
- Customer Relations:
1. Establish customer relationship and pay regular visit to prospective customers.
2. Response to customer against all enquiries.
3. Gather information about tender documents and participation for tender business.
4. Generate order from customer & prepare work order and get the product delivered on time.
5. Ensure delivery of sales tax invoices to the customer on time.
6. Attend customer complaints as advised by RSM.
- Debtors Management
1. Make collection s per the terms of invoices.
2. Keep record of debtors along with age analysis and nature of outstanding (sales invoices, withholding tax, earnest money, security deposit etc.)
3. Regular follow up and maintain debtors within approved credit limit.
4. Settlement of outstanding issues and settle as per advise of RSM.
- Reporting / Record Keeping
1. Report to management about the activities of competition in the region
2. Prepare position of outstanding and MRO & deliver that report to RSM
3. Monitor the stock level of OEM customers and give update to RSM
- Other:
1. Any assignment by higher management
2. Report to management about the activities of competitors in the region.
3. Ensure application of Industrial, floor, decorative coatings as per procedure
Job Specification
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Graduate in chemistry and or business administration.
- Pleasant personality and good communication skills
- 02 years experience in Heavy Duty, Industrial, Marine & Floor coatings sales
- Willing to travel and capable of expressing himself with ability to develop
business
- Valid driving license.
