To assist Head of HR on all human capital management matters; to ensure a keen understanding of the business so as to implement HR strategies and practices that support robust business growth; reinforce a culture of performance focus, meritocracy and diversity; and ensure compliance with HR policies & procedures.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Organizational Development

Responsible to build and maintain the organization blueprint / design in terms of job families, updated role competencies, job descriptions and other elements related to the foundation of the organization.

To support the HR and Business leadership in implementing the HR strategy and annual plan. Create and support a continuous improvement environment for HR Activities across the organization.

Play an advisory role in creating and managing a lean and multi-skilled workforce.

Support and facilitate the implementation of business structure reorganization and consolidation to deliver efficiencies

Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.

Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.

Employee Lifecycle

To manage, develop, engage and retain talent

Ensure training needs of key and high potential staff are identified and delivered. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.

Develop and execute a learning and development plan that equips individuals with necessary skills.

Formulate and implement performance management plans to improve employee performance

Support HOD in creating a culture of employee engagement based upon organization values.

Reinforce at all times a culture of meritocracy, performance-focus and diversity

Develop succession plans and retention strategies for key talent and positions.

Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues

Ensure compliance with local law and Group policy throughout the employee lifecycle. Communicate and implement changes to HR policies and procedures

Financial Management

Provide HOD with regular and financial reporting of employee costs.

Ensure annual manpower budgeting exercise is conducted accurately and efficiently.

Ensure HR Team adherence to the business financial systems and processes.

Preparing Reports & Contracts

Preparing reports, presentations & contracts & working on comprehensive HR dashboard

Job Specification

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

Master in Business Administration – HR major

Must have sound knowledge of HR systems & databases, and labor laws.


5 to 7 years of experience in HR

Previous experience as a HR Business Partner is preferable
