Senior Electrical Engineer

EBR Systems - Energy is involved in introducing alternative energy solution to Pakistani market. EBR currently has openning for a senior level Electrical Engineer to be based at our Lahore office.

This position requires the individual to work with the executive team to develop, design and test solar energy products that can be used by various consumer groups in Pakistan. This involves high level profiecency in theoretical electrical power system engineering as well as paractical experience in the power generation industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing a complete turn key solar energy power solutions, implementing the systems at customer sites, monitoring the performace of install systems as well as maintenance of the systems. Furthermore, the engineer will help EBR's sales team with analyzing the customers' technical requirements in order for EBR to provide the best solutions to the customers.

- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an internationally accredited university (BSEE, required)
- Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an internationally accredited university (MSEE is preferred)
- Electrical Power and /or Motors & Generator Course as part of the BSEE (required)
- At least five (5) of experience in Work experience in the power engineering field is required.
- Experience in renewable power generation(a plus)
- Experience in the following technical areas is required:
- Familiar with AutoCAD and /or Microstation
- Capable of doing calculations for voltage drop, motor starting, short circuit and load flow, conduit sizing, cable sizing, and relay protection
- Familiar with large Power equipment such as circuit breakers, transformers, reactors, Bus-work and motor control centers (MCC),
- Capable of developing schematics, wiring drawings, panel layouts, plot plans and general arrangement drawings.
- At least two (2) years of experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLC).
- Engineer In Training test (or similar certification) completed (required; must provide verification)
- Professional Engineering License (a Plus)
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills (required; verified by interviewer)
- Computer skills in word, and excel (required)
