Responsibilities:
Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.
Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure product quality.
Coordinate with or join the back-end services team which powers the app
At least 2+ years of front-end and mobile software development experience.
Expertise in JavaScript, React Native, Native iOS (Objective-C and/or Swift), Native Android (Java/Kotlin), React.js, Node.js, and their nuances.
Experience with ES6/ESNext Javascript features.
Expertise in native mobile and React Native/React/Node development.
Adept at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.
Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode and Android Studio, and build/deployment automation.
Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, state management, and offline storage
