Job Description

Responsibilities:

Research
- Proactively collect useful material - e.g. from other Twitter users or from Newsgroups - to "tweet" and blog about on a daily basis
- Source articles and content related to recruitment industry and compliance issues within
- Identify people for our MD to interview on this topic
- Identify national speaking opportunities for our MD
- Identify useful people to connect with on target social media and ensure our MD is the most connected recruiter on Linkedin, Twitter and emerging social media


Marketing
- Write marketing emails
- Manage the marketing plan and ensure that emails are written and sent out to agreed deadlines
- Use Broadlook to source emails to market to


PR
- Identify target media, deadlines and 'forward features'
- Generate interesting ideas each month to feed to journalists
- Write PR articles, blog content and Twitter posts
- Produce surveys and use the results for PR


Writing
- Ghost write "white papers" as agreed with MD
- Ghost write a book given topic


Website
- Ensure our websites has maximum SEO

Go getting attitude, excellent communicator with superb written English and top drawer writing skills. Flexible, prepared to try anything ethical if it improves business performance. Strong organizational skills. Accurate, reliable, gets things done on time every time. If you don't know how to do something, you'll find a way to learn it quickly. You are the kind of person who will research/work in your own time in order to achieve your goals.


Essential skills/experience i.e. cannot do the job without these
- Superb attention to detail and superb written English
- Excellent knowledge of online media and social networking sites
- Proven PR skills - i.e. can demonstrate media coverage gained as a result of personal efforts
- Go getting attitude - hungry for success and will do what it takes to achieve it
- 'Can-do' attitude - will do what it takes to get a job done on time
- Can demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new skills
- Truly cares about client satisfaction
- Very hardworking - exceeds expectations


Wish list (not essential)
